We undertake the installation of timber and metal fire doors, ensuring each door set is correctly specified, fitted, and certified in accordance with current standards. In addition, we carry out fire door remedial works to timber doors, addressing defects such as door leaf damage, ironmongery issues, gaps, seals, frames, and alignment to restore compliance and performance.
All fire door works are delivered under our third-party accreditation with FIRAS, providing assurance that installations and remedials are independently certified and carried out to recognised industry standards.

Fire Stopping
Capstan Group Services provide specialist fire stopping services designed to maintain the integrity of fire resisting compartments and limit the spread of fire and smoke within buildings.
Our fire stopping works include penetration sealing, such as pipe, cable, and service penetrations, using tested and approved systems to reinstate fire resistance where compartment lines are breached.
We also install cavity barrier systems, including curtain and ablative batt details to loft voids and concealed spaces, ensuring continuity of fire protection in accordance with design requirements and manufacturer guidance.
All fire stopping works are delivered under our third-party accreditation with FIRAS, providing independent certification and assurance that systems are installed correctly, documented, and compliant with recognised standards.

Asbestos Remediation
Capstan Group Services provide comprehensive asbestos remediation services to safely manage and remove asbestos-containing materials from occupied and unoccupied buildings.
We undertake asbestos removal under fully controlled conditions, following approved methods of work to minimise risk to occupants, operatives, and the wider environment. All removal works are carefully planned, executed, and independently monitored where required, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and best practice.
In addition, we carry out asbestos surveys and sampling, supporting clients with identification, risk assessment, and informed decision making prior to refurbishment, demolition, or ongoing management of their properties.
We are fully licensed asbestos contractors, having recently achieved renewal of our licence for a further three-year period, and operate in line with the standards and guidance set by ACAD. This provides assurance that our works are delivered to recognised industry and regulatory standards.

Construction
Capstan Group Services deliver a range of construction services to support both standalone projects and works integrated alongside specialist safety critical activities. Our capabilities include design & build, refurbishment works, and builders work in connection (BWIC), providing practical, coordinated solutions that align with programme, quality, and safety requirements.
We work across occupied and live environments, ensuring construction activities are planned and delivered with minimal disruption while maintaining compliance with statutory and client specific standards. Our experience allows us to effectively coordinate trades, manage interfaces, and deliver works that integrate seamlessly with passive fire protection, asbestos remediation, and wider building safety requirements.
